Individual Certification
Professional Certification Program Overview
MISMO offers two levels of certification: Associate MISMO Standards Professional (AMSPTM) and Certified MISMO Standards Professional (CMSP®). You are not required to be an AMSP before applying to be a CMSP, however the AMSP may serve as a stepping-stone towards earning the CMSP certification.
The Associate MISMO Standards Professional (AMSPTM) is designed to equip industry professionals with a designation denoting their knowledge of MISMO standards and best practices. Such a mark is designed to help individuals and companies improve their marketability, advance their standards knowledge and demonstrate their subject matter expertise.
The AMSP is perfect for any business or technical professional who is engaged with MISMO’s Standards and resources. It is particularly ideal for those who plan to pursue MISMO’s CMSP designation. This includes business and technology professionals working in data governance, business or data analysis, data transactions, project planning, resource management, data analysis or systems development.

The Certified MISMO Standards Professional (CMSP®) program is designed to equip industry professionals with a designation of excellence denoting their advanced knowledge of MISMO standards and best practices. Such a mark is sure to help individuals and companies improve their marketability, advance their standards knowledge and demonstrate their subject matter expertise.
A CMSP designation provides value to individuals, companies, and industry alike. The CMSP is perfect for any business or technical professional who is responsible for or working on a MISMO based implementation. Earning your CMSP places you in a unique realm of subject matter experts who have demonstrated that they have the knowledge to take real-world, regulatory, and business-driven data and document requirements and turn them into actionable data/document organization, trading partner transactions, and reporting transactions.
