MISMO Issues Call for Participants to Support API Toolkit Revisions

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Mach 17, 2025) – MISMO®, the real estate finance industry's standards organization, issued a call for industry professionals to join the Application Programing Interface (API) Community of Practice (COP) in an effort to revise the API Toolkit, originally published in 2020.
“The API COP will review and revise the API Toolkit for greater alignment with Open API 3.1 paradigms,” said MISMO Acting President Rick Hill. “Additionally, the API CoP would like to gather input from industry professionals to identify enhancement opportunities that will encourage greater adoption of the MISMO API Toolkit.”
This effort aims to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and facilitate the exchange of trading partner information by providing a clear roadmap for mortgage industry partners to follow when implementing MISMO APIs.
Individuals interested in participating in this group who are already MISMO members may join the API CoP collaboration site on MISMO Connect. Those who are not members of MISMO but would like to participate should email [email protected].
