MISMO Seeks Public Comment on Updates to the Business Glossary

WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 30, 2024) – MISMO®, the real estate finance industry's standards organization, is seeking public comment on recent updates to the MISMO Business Glossary and the associated Business Glossary User Guide. The 30-day public comment period runs through August 29, 2024.  

The MISMO Business Glossary is a business-friendly collection of terms and definitions representing content from MISMO and non-MISMO sources. The glossary includes information about common business processes, business events, business terms, calculations, documents, and forms.

Recent updates include the addition of terms to align with the MISMO Reference Model v3.6.0 as well as general maintenance updates.

The public comment period allows at least 30 days’ notice prior to final release to review and disclose any applicable Patent Rights (as defined by MISMO's 2018 Intellectual Property Rights Policy). Disclosures and comments should be directed to [email protected].
