MISMO Seeks Member Comment on New Reference Model Version 3.5 YAML Files

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 9, 2023) – MISMO®, the real estate finance industry's standards organization, today announced that it is seeking member comment on the latest set of MISMO Reference Model Version 3.5 YAML files to be used in conjunction with the MISMO Application Programming Interface (API) Toolkit 1.1. The 60-day member comment period runs through July 10, 2023.

The MISMO Reference Model Version 3.5 YAML file set is a representation of the MISMO XML Model which conforms to the OpenAPI Specification in YAML format.  The files can be used in conjunction with the MISMO API Toolkit 1.1 to build organization-specific APIs or leverage the API specifications that have been built by MISMO Workgroups.

The updated YAML file set (revision 8) incorporates updated features identified by our industry partners who implemented the tool using the file set provided with the original API Toolkit release.  MISMO members can utilize the MISMO GitHub to assist with review of the updated file set.

This member comment period allows at least 60-days’ notice prior to final release to review and disclose any applicable Patent Rights (as defined by MISMO’s 2018 Intellectual Property Rights Policy.)

MISMO requests that any organization that may have any patent or patent applications, or other intellectual property rights that might be infringed upon by an organization that uses or is compliant with these proposed MISMO products to disclose them at this time in writing.
