Industry Loan Application Dataset (iLAD) 2.1.0
iLAD 2.1.0 Specification was approved as Candidate Recommendation Status in May of 2022.
The iLAD specification is an integration of several existing industry specifications that are destined for future use in the mortgage industry for underwriting and origination functions. iLAD is designed to grow over time with new versions, but as of version 1.0.0, included industry specifications include those for Desktop Underwriter, Loan Product Advisor, data mappings for the Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA), and the DU legacy version 3.2 flat file being retired by Fannie Mae.
As additional data is included in future versions of iLAD, this will be noted in Tab 4: Source Versioning Information. Reference Index ID's for these source specifications are included in the iLAD so that you may link iLAD back to these specs and their detail, as well as your own analysis. The entire file can be used for data exchange between trading partners, or you may use parts of the file to send to specific partners, using the conditionality and implementation requirements found in their specifications.
