Product Certification

MISMO Product Certification verifies that an interface, data exchange or API complies with MISMO standards within any mortgage related product . The certification is determined based on an objective and structured assessment of a solution to verify development and maintenance to MISMO standards. Any technology that uses MISMO standards should obtain certification.

For technology providers, a MISMO certification provides market differentiation and shows the commitment to interoperability within the products and services you build.

Three MISMO compliance categories indicate the degree to which a product uses MISMO standards:

MISMO Product - A product that implements a MISMO standard.
MISMO Compatible - A product that uses the published MISMO model and terms.
MISMO Termed - A product that properly utilizes MISMO terminology.

To apply for the MISMO Product Certification, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete and sign the MISMO Product Certification Application.
Step 2: Complete and sign the MISMO Product Certification Application Agreement.

MISMO will inform you of the applicable certification fees and payment options, which must be paid prior to the start of the certification process.
