Because of your involvement in developing and implementing standards-based solutions, the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization, Inc. (“MISMO”) has been successful in helping the real estate finance industry meet the challenges of the 21st century. Now as more organizations choose to adopt and implement MISMO’s voluntary data standards and schema (“MISMO Standards”), a common understanding of what it means for a product to comply with a MISMO standard is critical to achieving maximum use of MISMO standards across trading partners.

That’s why MXCompliance was created. Through this service, MISMO successfully certified vendors and lenders on a number of transacton in the Version 2.x series of specifications, including AUS, Flood and Title Insurance and Credit Request and Response transactions.

Now that MISMO is moving into Version 3.0 architecture and a common reference model, MISMO is no longer offering MXCompliance certifications for the Version 2.x transactions.

Effective June 1, 2010, the http://mxcompliance.mismo.org/ web site and further certification testing will no longer be available.

Current certifications will remain valid through the end of their term of certification.

The trademarked phrases “MXCompliant”, and “MISMO-Compliant” will remain under MISMO’s ownership, and a MXCompliance Trademark (“Certificate Mark”) cannot be used unless a company has received certification and abides by the License Agreement.
